Ensuring that an organization’s system is up and running on a daily basis is not an easy task. You not only need to keep an eye on the day-to-day maintenance of the system, you need to keep abreast of emerging technologies to keep your existing systems updated and relevant. The Kisnn has been responsible for this day to day operation and maintenance on many transportation systems.

Sanjay was responsible for the operation and maintenance of NJDOT’s real time, multi-platform, information, into an integrated statewide travel information system. This included the website, the automated phone system and the personalized traveler information system. This also included enhancements requested by NJDOT.

Tom was the person responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the real-time data and analytical systems developed during his time at TRANSCOM.

This work included ensuring that the public had uninterrupted access to the system. It also included but was not limited to, configurable internet access, a regular review of the network architecture, management of a disaster recovery feature, as well as, a cloud-hosted solution.

These efforts resulted in an uptime of 99.995% for these environments.
